Hello and welcome to my new website.
Opportunities abound on the Fraser Coast. That is why in this turbulent time of change we must remain positive. Most certainly there will be challenges aplenty. Tough and probably unpopular decisions will have to be made in this first term of the Fraser Coast Regional Council but, underpinning it all is a region with much to offer.
Unlike some candidates, you won’t find me making grandiose promises about what I will or will not make happen. We need to work together as a team and not get caught up in personal agendas. What I do promise is to approach each decision with a view to what’s best for the region as a whole; to speak out when required and to act ethically and honestly at all times. I’m known as a ‘straight talker’. That won’t change.
My election campaign is being run on a ‘shoe-string’ and funded by no one but myself. I refuse to be beholden to anyone. The aim of the material being presented is that it is functional yet informative. I firmly believe that good communication is the key to better understanding so I’ll be using a combination of media to ensure all voters across the region know a little more about me to assist them in making an informed decision. Always happy to answer any questions.
It’s an historic time for our region. We need to lay a solid foundation for our future. I believe my depth of experience and broad knowledge of governance and our region equips me to be effective from day one.
